As one of Fairfield’s premier animal hospitals, we offer a wide range of veterinary health care services designed to serve your companion well throughout his or her lifetime, from puppy- or kitten-hood through the senior years. We stress the importance of an annual physical examination — it is through comprehensive check-ups and preventive care that we can help alleviate serious health problems as your pets age and maximize their enjoyment of life.
Acupuncture: Acupuncture is used as a proven adjunct to our traditional therapies and is utilized for pain relief.
Anesthesia: We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient’s vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.
Behavioral Counseling: We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression. We work with a behavioralist who can meet with you at your convenience!
Boarding: We provide pet boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday.
Bathing: Routine and therapeutic bathing services are available.
Dentistry: Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.
Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets’ complete health care needs.
Dietary Counseling: We will provide guidance regarding your pet’s nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.
Digital radiography: Decreases your pet’s stress and speeds diagnosis and allows for board certified radiology review within 24 hours if needed.
Electrocardiography and Ultrasonography Services: We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.
Internal medicine consults: We offer in-hospital referrals to an internal medicine specialist who performs ultrasounds, echocardiograms, and cytology to help us with the diagnosis of more complicated cases.
Individualized Tick and Flea Control Programs: We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.
Medical Massage: We have a certified animal massage therapist available for appointments and medical massage instruction.
Medical Boarding: If your pet has special medical needs, we offer medical boarding staffed with veterinary technicians.
Permanent identification: We offer microchip identification.
Computerized Pet Records and Pet Portals: Pet Portals is available online to keep you in touch with your pets’ medical history.
Pharmacy: We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.
Referral Services: We can quickly refer your pet for critical care and advanced diagnostics and therapeutics ranging from MRI to radiation treatment.
Surgical Services: Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures.
Therapeutic Laser: For the treatment of chronic pain, chronic wounds and tissue injury.
Travel Certification: Our veterinarians can issue travel certification as needed for our clients’ pets.
Radiology Services: Our on-site digital X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders.
Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, cytology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
Vaccine Services: We prefer to vaccinate based on risk/benefit and utilize testing of vaccine levels to determine need.
